There are days when Jason and I just can't get enough of his perfect little face. We feel so blessed that we were chosen to be his Mommy and Daddy...and can't describe how lucky we feel to get to spend every day with him! We love you Boogie!
Last Friday night Independence held their Christmas parade...(yup, a week before Thanksgiving). Apparently Mommy thought it was MUCH cooler out than it actually was, so she made sure that we were all bundled up! Turned out that it was in the mid 50's and beautiful out...guess she's still not used to this Kansas weather!
There he is...SANTA!!! Pointing at the soccer balls! The Handsome Morehead Boys Hayden's favorite "floats" were the high school soccer team with all of their soccer balls and of course SANTA!!! He was pretty excited to get to see Jolly Old Saint Nicholas, and he even yelled out "Ho Ho Ho" when Santa went by!
After the parade we took him to Blockbuster so that he could pick out a movie...any guesses on which one he chose???? Dora of course! He was so excited that he had a death grip on the case, and didn't even want to let go for the guy to rent it to us. He held it all the way home in the van too!
Hayden's newest trick is pointing at all of his (or our) facial features! My favorite is when he points to his eyes and says it...but of course he refused to do that when the camera was out!
Teeth
Hair Ears Nose We don't think he can get any cuter!
"Are you seeing this Chi-Cha? I think I've finally got it!"
"Darn it Cheech...I'm gettin' hungry here...maybe I'll just use my fingers..."""Yup...that works!" "Okay...maybe if I try it like this...this is GENIUS Chi-Cha!" "Hmm...maybe I'm using the wrong end?" Our little stinker has been trying to master the fork for the past week or so...he's starting to get the hang of it...practice makes perfect! (and messy floors for mommy to clean up!)
Here are a few quick snaps before Hayden actually went in to get his Christmas pictures taken. He looked so darn cute in his little houndstooth slacks and sweater vest that I just couldn't resist! Of course, I can't get my little stinker to sit still...so watch for the professional snaps to show up sometime in December!
This is actually pretty good! Nope...I can't fit any more in! Michael sure liked his cook-cook too!
On Thursday I got to go on a shopping trip to Tulsa with my mommy, my buddy Michael, and his mommy Jeannie. We had lots of fun, and our mommies thought we were such good boys that we got cook-cooks from Mrs. Fields! They were giant, and covered in sprinkles-Michael didn't like the mess, but I didn't mind! I just LOVE me some cook-cooks! Thanks Mommy, Jeannie and Michael for the fun day!
Grandma Cindy made us an early Thanksgiving dinner, and some of my most favorite-est people came! (Daddy and Uncle Chris were there too...they were the faces BEHIND the camera!)
My Mommy, Aunt Jennifer and my Godmama Jill-they had lots of fun together!
My Cool Uncle Mike My Big Cousin Bryce My Grandma Cindy Workin' Hard! My Cousin Caden
While we were back in Iowa we got to spend the evening at my Grandma Cindy's, and we all had SO MUCH FUN! My big cuzzies Brycer and Caden had me in STITCHES!! I love you guys!
